The sub-committee welcomes original submissions in condensed matter physics, encompassing research involving atomic, molecular, lattice, spin, and electronic properties of surfaces, nanostructures, and low-dimensional materials. Contributions in the form of papers are sought, covering a wide array of topics including, but not limited to:1. Material growth, synthesis, and characterization.2. Investigation of structural, electronic, optical, and magnetic properties.3. Exploration of phenomena occurring at surfaces, interfaces, and heterostructures.4. High-resolution characterization at the atomic or nanoscale.5. Theoretical approaches and simulations.6. Utilization of chemistry for applications in energy, catalysis, and sensing.7. Novel functional 2D materials and their associated applications.

Instrumentation development not only highly correlated with a country’s science and technology advances, it is also making great impact on the economic development and industrial progress. In particular, the development process of instruments often complements each other with the needs of many emerging topics. Since 2022, the Physical Society of Taiwan is organizing a joint session to combine the accelerator physics and instrumentation development, to promote both the accelerator related researches and the science and technology for instrumentation development. In 2023, except the accelerator related researches and the science and technology for instrumentation development, we will organize a novel filed related special experimental techniques, not only limited with the development of instruments. We kindly invite researchers with special experimental techniques in various fields to share your experience, furtherly prompt the cooperation of research work among scholars in different fields. This sub-committee welcomes original submissions in the fields related to the accelerator researches, applications of accelerator, synchrotron radiation, instrumentation development, and special experimental techniques for any research fields. This session provides a platform to share your experience and an opportunity to communicate with a broad spectrum of scientists who will definitely benefit from your contribution.

儀器的發展不僅與一個國家的科技進步高度相關,而且對經濟發展和產業進步也有著巨大的影響。而儀器的發展進程往往與許多新興課題的需要,彼此相輔相成。有鑑於此,自2022年開始,台灣物理學會新增一個聯合領域,將加速器物理與儀器發展相結合,促進加速器相關研究和儀器發展科學技術。另外,除了加速器物理與儀器發展的研究工作外,我們也增加一個新的領域,希望在各領域有特殊實驗技術的研究人員,能夠分享你們的經驗,並促進不同領域的學者彼此間研究工作的合作。本領域歡迎與加速器研究、加速器應用、同步輻射、任何研究領域的儀器發展、以及特殊的實驗技術的研究工作者,有一個與物理界科學家們深入對談的機會,藉此互動共同提升台灣物理界加速器發展與儀器開發領域的發展。
