In recent years, the U.S. government has strengthened its investment in quantum science and education through executive orders and budgetary adjustments. This study compiles and analyzes all ongoing NSF research projects related to quantum education. The findings reveal that quantum education research in the United States spans all academic stages, from K-12 to higher education. A strategic shift in focus is evident: from teaching the physical theories of the "first quantum revolution" to instruction centered on the practical applications of quantum information for the "second quantum revolution." Moreover, a strong emphasis is placed on directly aligning educational research with the needs of the quantum information workforce.
